Why You Should Not Mix Drinking And Driving

Ever since the invention of the automobile people have been drinking and driving. There are many people that think they can drive if they have only had a couple drinks but this is far from the truth. There is never an excuse for drinking and driving, no matter how little you had to drink.

When you take the risk and drive will drinking there are many things that may go wrong. You could end up spending the night in jail and having to pay a large fine for a DUI if you are caught driving drunk. Not to mention all of the people you are putting in danger. A DUI is the best case scenario because you could end up taking someone’s life.

You run the risk of losing a lot when you are drunk and driving. If you drive after you have been drinking you take the risk of killing yourself or someone else. You will go to jail if you wreck and the result is someone’s death. You absolutely can and more than likely will be arrested and charged with the crime of man slaughter if you kill someone will driving drunk.

Most people would have a hard time living with the fact that their bad choice caused someone to die. Airport Transportation You Have Your Choice

Today with Airport Transportation you have many choices. You can call for a shuttle to pick you up at your door. You can park and leave your car in an airport parking lot. You can even take Orlando airport transportation to the airport if a bus isn’t available.

It might be more convenient to have a van pick you up at your door. But it might cost you more to do this. And with the increase in air fare you might want to save money in this area. You might save money leaving your car at a parking lot near the airport. The shuttle that takes you to the airport from the lot is included in most cases in your parking fee. The closer the lot the shorter the shuttle ride but the higher the parking fee.

If you are going to stay for an extended period you want to take into account how much you will save taking a shuttle verses paying for parking. If the shuttle ride is seventy dollars round trip and you will pay fifty dollars total for parking based on the time of your trip and the daily parking rate then you will save twenty dollars it would seem.

Now there is extra security at airports. This means extra time needed to board your flight. Therefore make sure you arrange your shuttle van arrives in plenty of time to make your flight. And be ready to go when the shuttle arrives. They are very good with getting to your door on time and you need to respect the time of others in the van who also have to catch a flight. If you are driving to the parking lot make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get to lot, take the shuttle, and get through security.

Taking A Trip Along The East Coast

Although many tend to lean towards Florida, when they are going on an east coast vacation, there is much more to the east coast then this one state.

Instead of Florida, lets work out way up the Coast. The first stop will be Georgia. Georgia not only has some fabulous beaches, but it also is home to the large city of Atlanta. While visiting Atlanta you should try to take in a sporting event, since they have a professional team in all the major pro leagues. If you want to visit a smaller, and quaint little town then you should head to Savannah and get a true sense of southern charm.

North of Georgia is the Carolina’s. Both South Carolina and North Caroline has beautiful beaches and breath taking mountain scenery. There are many smaller and large cities depending on what your interests are. Right in between the two states is an area that is designed for travelers and families. This area is called South of the Border and has everything from little knick knack shops to restaurants, to amusement rides and accommodations. It is a fun time for all.

If these things aren’t enough, keep moving up the coast and I am sure you will find even more great things to do. Virginia is the next stop and has plenty of things to offer a traveler or vacationer. It also puts you really close to our nations capital, Washington D.C. With all the monuments and museums in D.C., it could take a normal person weeks just to see every exhibit in the Smithsonian.

Up north a little further and you are in the “big apple”. NYC is one of the most famous destinations to visit by both New Yorkers and those that live out of the state. From Broadway to Rockefeller Center there is so much to see and do that you will never have a dull moment.
